30 Days of Night

Might I strongly recommend a puppet-version of this movie, performed by the brilliant Danes who brought us "It Came from the West".
...lest we be tempted to show the theatrical version.
I saw it with friends, and other than "The Core," I don't think I've ever felt so intellectually abused in my life by a movie ("Baise Moi" doesn't count because I was EXPECTING abuse).
I'd happily MST3K it, though.
Talk about a great idea monkeypunched in the execution!

The final battle had me laughing so hard, I almost wet myself. Doubtful if that was the film maker's intent, but I needed the laugh that day.
Actually...
Edward Martin III — Tue, 2008-05-13 23:20If you think it would be funny (and how could it NOT be), I'll bet I could get a few people and do a ten-minute stage version of "30 Days of Night".
What a weird idea.
Might be able to do it in five minutes, if I cut out the songs.
