Ok, I put this in a comment before realizing how film ideas were being posted.

One other film I would suggest would be Nightbreed. I think that's a great match for the festival because its protagonists are undead, some of whom are more fast-moving zombie like (the berserkers) and some of whom are more vampire like (sexy, seductive). And ultimately the message is one that I think would resonate with the zompire crowd. I also screened that one a while back and the audience was really into the film by the end.
