Romero's ultra gory sequel to Dawn of the Dead, where the Dead have taken over the entire planet, leaving small groups of people out of their reach. Hiding in an underground bunker in Florida, one group of both scientific and military personnel tries to get in contact with other survivors of the zombie infestation, but find themselves quite alone in this new world. Desperately searching for a cure by indulging in strange experiments, the scientists loose the faith of the military, resulting in a race against death while the zombies take over the facility.
