Cemetery Man (Dellamorte, Dellamore)
This Italian film, titled Dellamorte, Dellamore, is properly translated as ‘of death, of love’. Everett stars as Francesco Dellamorte, a cemetery caretaker who must destroy the dead as they rise from their graves with his trusty assistant Gnaghi. Utilizing dark humor and Italian surrealism, this film touches upon the philosophical meanings of love, death, and life. The former apprentice to master filmmaker Dario Argento, develops his own style as well as a cult following with this film.

bawb — Tue, 2009-05-05 03:48Seeing this film on the big screen could be almost as good as watching a slasher flick in the frozen foods aisle of a really friendly grocery store.
Cemetary Man's Man!
Jacula — Mon, 2009-05-04 15:37This is a great chance to catch this beautifully odd, heartfelt creepfest! The 90s lucked out with this one, it could have come to pass in any decade really as it simply defies all boxed in classification...that is save for ENTERTAINING AS HELL!
YES!!!
syndromepictures — Sun, 2009-05-03 16:14This has been one of my favorites since I was a teenager. Really excited that it's being screened. I always found it a strange film, balancing on the edge of a number of genres but never quite making a decision as to which school it belonged to; splatter-gore comedy, comic book adaptation, soft core porn or even European art-house.
Very strange indeed, and in the best way possible.
P.S. Clearly Rupert Everett's best role.
