It's New Year's Eve and there's a comet circling the Earth. Even though last time the big ball of cosmic matter passed this close it killed all the dinosaurs, no one's particularly worried until everyone on Earth is turned into either a pile of reddish powder or a mindless post-apocalyptic zombie. There are a few scattered survivors... two sisters, one's a total Valley Girl, and the other's a bit more serious... now without any real distractions they shop, they kill zombies, they fall in love and save the... ok they don't save the planet. But they do crack a lot of jokes and worry about their hair.
